Called Up exists to disciple Jesus followers inside college baseball — and send them back to bring the gospel to their own teams.
Called Up started because I kept meeting guys who loved Jesus and loved baseball but had no idea how to connect the two. Guys who were grinding through their season feeling like their faith was something they did on Sunday, not something that had anything to do with what was happening Monday through Saturday.
We create space for baseball players to grow through Scripture, real conversation, and practical training in what it looks like to love God and love your teammates — not just as a player, but as a witness.
This isn't about building something big. It's about seeing one faithful guy per roster go back to his team and let the Holy Spirit do what only He can do.
Every week we open the Word together and talk about what it actually looks like to follow Jesus — not someday when the season's over, not when you have more time. Just where you are, as you are.
There's something that happens when guys from all across the country realize they're carrying the same burden and the same calling. That's what this is. One body, different uniforms, same mission.
We'll teach you how to start a Bible study on your team, actually bring the gospel into the locker room, and normalize talking about Jesus with your teammates. Simple, reproducible, and designed to multiply.
Every week we get on a call — open the Word, hear from guys who are further down the road, pray for our teams, and talk honestly about what it looks like to follow Jesus in a college baseball locker room.
The goal is simple: grow in your faith, learn how to lead a Discovery Bible Study, and go back to your team ready to carry the gospel with you.
